Police are looking for two men in connection with a violent armed robbery that occurred back in October at a Somerton store.

Authorities released surveillance video of the incident on Wednesday. Two men with handguns entered Five Star Shoe Repair, 10785 Bustleton Ave., around 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20.

They demanded money, and, when the 67-year-old employee said he didn’t have any, they beat him over the head several times with their guns, police said. The gunmen took off with $500 and the man’s identification and cellphone.

Police said the employee was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.
