Northeast High School was on lockdown for nearly two hours Monday after a student was found with live ammunition, authorities said.
The school, with an enrollment of more than 3,400, was placed on lockdown around 10:40 a.m. after it was discovered that a 17-year-old student had brought in two bullets. Officers took the student into custody.
Police searched the school, utilizing a K-9 Unit, but did not find any firearms and the lockdown was lifted at around 12:30 p.m. No one was injured, authorities said. ••
