Teenager injured in Frankford shooting

A 15-year-old boy was shot Monday while walking near Frankford Transportation Center.

A 15-year-old boy was walking Monday evening near Frankford Transportation Center when he was struck by gunfire, police said.

The teenager heard gunshots but didn’t realize he had been shot until he got home, authorities said. He was hit in the right thigh, and officers rushed him to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Investigators are not sure exactly where the shooting took place. No arrests have been made. ••
