Knife-wielding man robs Dunkin’ Donuts

Authorities are investigating an armed robbery involving a knife that occurred last month in Wissinoming.

Police are searching for a man who pulled out a large knife and robbed a Wissinoming Dunkin’ Donuts last month.

On Jan. 18 at around 6:40 a.m., the suspect entered the store at 5233 Torresdale Ave., walked behind the counter and produced the knife. At his demand, employees stuffed doughnut bags with cash, police said.

Authorities said the man was spotted fleeing the store toward the 2100 block of Betts Street.
