Police looking for suspects in looting of Mayfair shop

Northeast Detectives is seeking information on a burglary earlier this month at an electronics repair story at 2826 Cottman Ave. in Mayfair.

Officers in the 15th Police District were dispatched at about 1 a.m. on June 1, around the time when people were looting in protest of the death of George Floyd.

Upon arrival, police observed the front door smashed in and the store decimated. Police retrieved video surveillance of the incident depicting numerous unknown persons inside taking merchandise, then leaving the store.

If you see the suspects, do not approach. Call 911 immediately.
