Police have identified the man killed on Christmas.
On Dec. 25, at about 6:29 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot inside a burgundy pickup truck on the 1500 block of Hellerman St.
A 38-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head. He was transported by a fire department medic unit to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Dec. 26 at 10:10 a.m.
The victim was identified as Aelson Da Silva.
No weapon was recovered, and no arrest made. Detectives from the homicide division are investigating. ••
