An Oxford Circle man was shot to death in the street one block from his home on Monday afternoon, police say.
Investigators have released little information about the slaying. The motive is unknown. There are no suspects or descriptions of the shooter. Police were called to the 1000 block of Alcott St. just before 5 p.m. They found Brent Rafferty, 45, of the 1000 block of Van Kirk St., lying on the asphalt and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics took Rafferty to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:22 p.m. ••
