A grand jury indicted a Philadelphia man on Tuesday for the robberies of two Northeast banks in September, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Harry Dallas, 54, allegedly robbed the Citizens Bank at 7327 Frankford Ave. on Sept. 16, as well as the TD Bank at 6635 Frankford Ave. on Sept. 20. In the latter crime, Dallas allegedly entered the bank at about 11:20 a.m., handed a demand note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
The federal prosecutor did not disclose what led investigators to suspect Dallas in the crimes. Court records show that Dallas has a lengthy criminal history including burglary and drug offenses dating to 1979. He has had multiple home addresses in the Northeast. ••
