Police released surveillance video and photos of the culprit last Thursday, three days after he committed his most recent heist at a Metro PCS at 7219 Frankford Ave. Detectives have linked 16 separate offenses to the same robber between July 1 and Oct. 26 in Center City, Northwest Philly, South Philly and the Northeast. All but one occurred in September and October.

Among the targeted businesses were Cricket at 7232 Frankford Ave. (Sept. 12), Metro PCS at 721 Adams Ave. (Oct. 10 and 14), Cricket at 7225 Rising Sun Ave. (Oct. 17) and Cricket at 6709 Castor Ave. (Oct. 17). A second robber was involved in several cases.

The crook has been described as black, 20 years old, 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. Visit the Philadelphia Police channel on YouTube.com to view surveillance video. Call 215–686-TIPS or text to PPD TIP to report information. ••
