2nd Police District

There were six robberies, all of which took place on the street. Thoai O Han, 25, and Anthony White, 26, were arrested Dec. 8 following a robbery on the street at 2300 Cottman Ave. involving a handgun. Other robberies took place at 1000 Cottman Ave. (Nov. 28) and 1100 Gilham St. (Dec. 4), both of which involved handguns, and 5700 Langdon St. (Dec. 3), the intersection of Tabor Avenue and Levick Street (Dec. 4) and 1100 Cottman Ave. (Dec. 6), which involved no weapons.

There were eight aggravated assaults. Robert Miller, 45, was arrested Nov. 27 following two assaults involving a knife at a private residence at 5200 Roosevelt Blvd. Other assaults at private residences included domestic assaults at 1300 McKinley St. (Dec. 1), 7100 Eastwood St. (Nov. 28) and 200 Elbridge St. (Dec. 2). The others happened at a restaurant at 6500 Castor Ave. (Dec. 2), on the street at 800 Magee Ave. (Dec. 7) and an apartment house at 1400 Lardner St. (Dec. 7).

There were eight burglaries, most of which took place at private residences. These happened at 1300 Robbins St. (Dec. 3), 2500 Vista St. (Dec. 3), 6100 Alma St. (Nov. 28), 4000 Roosevelt Blvd. (Nov. 28) and an attempt at 5700 Weymouth St. (Dec. 7). The others happened at an apartment house at 1400 Kerper St. (Dec. 8), a retail store at 900 Tyson Ave. (Nov. 29) and a PLCB licensed location at 2100 Cottman Ave. (Nov. 27). 

There were 87 thefts, which targeted 41 vehicles (including four stolen vehicle tags and a stolen car phone), 31 businesses, nine street thefts, three private residences, two public schools and an apartment house. Police made 12 arrests. In addition, 24 vehicles were reported stolen, 15 of which have been recovered. Four arrests were made.

7th Police District

There were no reported robberies.

Both aggravated assaults took place on the street. An assault at 2000 Fuller St. (Dec. 9) involved a handgun, and an assault at 10000 Bustleton Ave. (Dec. 7) did not involve a weapon.

There were eight burglaries, most of which targeted private residences. These happened at 1400 Apple Blossom Way (Dec. 3), 8100 Langdon St. (Nov. 26), 1000 Byberry Road (Nov. 29), 11700 Gifford Ave. (Dec. 7), 9200 Darlington Road (Nov. 30) and 9700 Fulmer St. (Dec. 2). Other burglaries took place at an apartment house at 12000 Bustleton Ave. (Dec. 7) and an unlisted location at 200 Red Lion Road (Nov. 29).

There were 47 thefts, which targeted 21 vehicles (including two stolen vehicle tags), 14 businesses, seven street thefts, three private residences, an apartment house and an unlisted location. Seven arrests were made. In addition, seven vehicles were reported stolen, six of which have been recovered. One arrest was made.

8th Police District

The only reported robbery took place at a chain retail store at 1500 Franklin Mills Circle on Dec. 2.

Two of the four reported aggravated assaults took place at a prison facility, at 8200 State Road (Nov. 27) and 8101 State Road (Dec. 4). Rhonesia Brooks, 38, was arrested Dec. 8 following an assault involving a knife on the street at 8800 Cottage St. A domestic assault took place at a private residence at 3700 Morrell Ave. on Dec. 1.

There were 12 burglaries, most of which took place at private residences. Aleem King, 30, was arrested Dec. 6 following a burglary at a private residence at 8000 Walker St. Other burglaries of private residences took place at 9200 Andover Road (Dec. 5), 8400 Jackson St. (Nov. 27), twice at 12400 Sweet Briar Place (Nov. 26 and Dec. 3), 8800 Frankford Ave. (Dec. 4) and attempts at 9200 Exeter Road (Dec. 7), 8800 Manchester St. (Dec. 4) and 4400 Aberdale Road (Dec. 7). Other burglaries took place at a store at 8100 Frankford Ave. (Dec. 9), a factory/warehouse at 10900 Dutter Road (Dec. 2) and an attempt at an apartment house at 2900 Welsh Road (Dec. 7). 

There were 60 thefts, which targeted 22 vehicles (including three stolen car phones and a stolen vehicle tag), 22 businesses, nine street thefts, three private residences, a private school, a bicycle, a commercial garage and a doctor’s office. Police made 12 arrests. In addition, six vehicles were reported stolen, three of which have been recovered.

15th Police District

There were 21 robberies, which resulted in three arrests. Damir Russell, 20, and Abel Lamont Waters, 22, were arrested Dec. 2 following a robbery involving a handgun at a chain store at 5200 Harbison Ave. Nafice Holloway, 21, was arrested Nov. 29 following two robberies on the street at 4900 Large St. and the intersection of Bridge and Saul streets. Many of the robberies took place on the street, including three incidents involving handguns at 6200 Torresdale Ave. (Nov. 27), 5600 Hegerman St. (Nov. 29) and 6100 Marsden St. (Nov. 30), an incident involving a knife at the intersection of Torresdale and Cottman avenues (Nov. 30), and robberies involving no weapons at 5300 Frankford Ave. (Nov. 27), the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Church Street (Nov. 29), 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (Dec. 1), 4700 Tackawanna St. (Dec. 3), 4200 Griscom St. (Dec. 4), 5200 Jackson St. (Dec. 4), 6100 Frankford Ave. (Nov. 29), 5200 Jackson St. (Dec. 1), 6300 Hegerman St. (Dec. 1) and 4400 Princeton Ave. (Dec. 4). Other robberies took place at a union hall at 2000 Orthodox St. (Dec. 7), a barber shop/beauty salon at 5100 Frankford Ave. (Nov. 30), a PLCB-licensed place at 7800 Torresdale Ave. (Dec. 1) and a mini market at 5800 Torresdale Ave. (Dec. 1).

There were 13 aggravated assaults. Sharrod Muldor, 19, was arrested Dec. 5 following a domestic assault at a private residence at 4500 Mulberry St. William McLean, 22, was arrested Dec. 5 following a domestic assault at a private residence at 6400 Tulip St. (Nov. 29). Assaults on the street included three involving handguns at 4600 Robbins St. (Nov. 29), 2200 Brill St. (Nov. 30) and the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and Tacony Street (Nov. 30); one assault involving a rifle at 5400 Tackawanna St. (Dec. 8); an assault involving a knife at 1600 Bridge St. (Dec. 4); and other assaults at 5200 Jackson St. (Dec. 4), 5100 Tulip St. (Dec. 8) and 4900 Frankford Ave. (Dec. 5). Other assaults included a domestic assault at a private residence at 5700 Erdrick St. (Dec. 2), a domestic assault at an apartment house at 4400 Shelmire Ave. (Dec. 4) and an assault at a private residence at 1900 Fillmore Place (Nov. 29).

There were 18 burglaries. Jordan Bass, 28, was arrested following three burglaries of private residences, twice at 1600 Wakeling St. (Nov. 27) and 5000 Duffield St. (Nov. 27). Most of the burglaries took place at private residences, happening at 6800 Roosevelt Blvd. (Nov. 27), 1900 Briggs St. (Dec. 1), 1900 Berkshire St. (Dec. 9), 1300 Dyre St. (Dec. 6), 4200 Princeton Ave. (Nov. 26), 2800 Orthodox St. (Nov. 29), 4100 Roosevelt Blvd. (Nov. 30), 4500 Mercer St. (Dec. 3), 1100 Overington St. (Dec. 7), 4500 Hawthorne St. (Dec. 7) and attempts at 7800 Calvert St. (Nov. 29) and 2800 Bridge St. (Dec. 9). Other burglaries took place at an apartment house at 6300 Hegerman St. (Dec. 3), a barber shop/beauty salon at 7200 Torresdale Ave. (Dec. 4) and a gas station at 1500 Adams Ave. (Dec. 7).

There were 96 thefts, which targeted 40 vehicles (including three stolen vehicle tags and a car phone), 22 street thefts (including a pickpocketing), 17 businesses, 15 private residences, a cargo theft and an unlisted location. Seven arrests were made. In addition, 48 vehicles were stolen, 32 of which have been recovered. Six arrests were made. ••
