Register for environmental grants

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is offering grants, with an application deadline of April 10.

“One of the greatest gifts we can present to our children and grandchildren is a clean, healthy and sustainable environment,” said state Sen. Tina Tartaglione. “This is more than a goal. It’s an essential responsibility that we can fulfill by working together as a community with contributions from the public and private sectors; professionals and volunteers; city dwellers, suburbanites and those who live in Pennsylvania’s vast and beautiful rural counties.”

Applicants are encouraged to register for either or both of two upcoming webinars on Jan. 30 and Feb. 27 via dcnr.pa.gov. More information on other grant programs is also available via the DCNR website. ••
