A 33-year-old man was stabbed in the back around 2 a.m. Monday morning on the 4100 block of Roosevelt Boulevard near Whitaker Avenue in Crescentville, police said.
The victim was stabbed twice in the lower back and had a cut on his neck, police said. Medical personnel transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Officers at the scene arrested a suspect and recovered a weapon. Police did not release further information.
The man was attempting to board a SEPTA bus when he was attacked, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. ••
