Dunphy Ford, 7700 Frankford Ave., will be holding a Dallas Cowboys Car Smash on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The blue Ford Windstar is decorated with stars and the names and numbers of players Jason Witten, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Randall Cobb, Amari Cooper and Sean Lee.
The cost is $5 for three swings of a sledgehammer. The day will also include face painting, free hot dogs and soft drinks, special pricing on all vehicles, a basket auction and a 50/50.
During a similar event in 2014, a forklift dropped the car.
All proceeds will go to the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 Survivors Fund and the Franklin Towne Charter High School cheerleaders. ••
