Authorities have released surveillance footage in an attempt to identify a man wanted in connection with a shooting outside a Rhawnhurst bar and restaurant.
The shooting, which left a 23-year-old man critically wounded, occurred at 2:15 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, outside Mediterranean 2000, located at Bustleton Avenue and Stanwood Street.
Police said the victim and another 23-year-old man were involved in an argument with a man inside the bar. Another argument broke out in the parking lot, and, as the second man was heading to his car, he heard a gunshot, authorities said.
He turned and found the victim on the ground, investigators said. He immediately scooped him up and drove him to Nazareth Hospital, according to police.
A man police have identified as the shooter jumped into a dark-colored vehicle and fled north on Bustleton. The video shows at least five other people piling into what appears to be an SUV, including one man clinging to the trunk.
Investigators at the time told the Times the shooting followed a Halloween party at the bar.
