Man in critical condition after Frankford shooting

A 63-year-old man was shot once in the stomach Sunday by someone he knew, police said.

A 63-year-old man was in critical condition following a shooting early Sunday morning in Frankford, police said.

Officers just after 2 a.m. responded to a house on the 2100 block of Granite Street and found the man with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition, authorities said.

Police said the victim knows the shooter, who is described as a man ages 56 to 58. Charges have yet to be filed, and the case remains under investigation with Northeast Detectives. ••
