A 20-year-old man was injured early Tuesday morning in a shooting in Holmesburg, police said.
Officers around 12:30 a.m. responded to the 8300 block of Cottage Street for a report of a shooting but did not find a victim. Police were notified that a man showed up to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left knee.
Authorities said he was inside of a black Lincoln on the block when he was shot by another man. He is in stable condition, according to police.
The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives. ••
