Investigators are looking for a man who snatched a gold chain worth $12,000 from a jewelry store inside Philadelphia Mills mall.
The theft happened Saturday at the Kay Jewelers Outlet. The suspect fled the scene and jumped into an older-model white vehicle, police said.
Authorities described him as a 5-foot-8 black man who weighs about 165 pounds. He was wearing a green camouflage jacket, black hat and black pants at the time of the robbery, police said.Â
It’s at least the second recent jewelry heist at Philadelphia Mills. On New Year’s Eve, three thieves stole $65,000 worth of rings, necklaces and bracelets from a different store in the mall. ••
