Man shot during Castor Gardens robbery

A 20-year-old man was injured early Monday morning when he was shot during a robbery at Bustleton and Tyson avenues.

A 20-year-old man was shot early Monday morning during a robbery in Castor Gardens, police said.

Authorities said two men robbed the victim and shot him in the elbow at around 2:45 a.m. at Bustleton and Tyson avenues. The man was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

The suspects fled before officers arrived on the scene, and no arrests have been made. Northeast Detectives is investigating the incident. ••
