Rotary District 7450 Governor Peter Mardinly recently presented a Governor’s Citation to Kathe Sobczak, president of Frankford Northeast Philadelphia Rotary.
Sobczak is a graduate of Holy Family, an Academy Road resident and member of St. Katherine of Siena Parish.
Mardinly recognized Sobczak for her outstanding leadership within the club and service to the district. Her accomplishments span Rotary’s five service areas: community, international, vocational, club and youth.
Sobczak led the club to receive a district Literacy Award twice, traveled to Haiti on two international service projects and has networked locally to identify community needs. ••
