FOP offering $5,000 reward in police vehicle arsons

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of a suspect who set fire to four Philadelphia police vehicles early Monday morning.

The vehicles sustained damage from the fires at 7th and Chestnut streets, 11th and Vine streets, 5510 Pine St. and the 3900 block of Chestnut Street. All vehicles were unoccupied.

The suspect was seen on surveillance cameras riding a bicycle near the last two fires.

“We need to get this individual off the street immediately before these incidents escalate and an officer or resident are severely injured,” said FOP President John McNesby.
