Police are investigating a homicide early Wednesday morning in Wissinoming.
At about 3:28 a.m., 15th Police District officers responded to reports of a person with a gun/shooting on the 2000 block of Carver St.
Inside a home, they found a 33-year-old black woman in the rear bedroom, shot multiple times throughout her body.
Medics responded, and pronounced her dead at 3:35 a.m. She was later identified as Tyronda Herrington.
No arrest has been made, and no weapon was recovered. ••
