2nd Police District
There were 11 robberies. Incidents on the street involving handguns happened at 6300 Oxford Ave. (Jan. 10) and 7000 Calvert St. (Jan. 13), an incident with another weapon took place at 7900 Ridgeway St. (Jan. 17) and incidents with no weapons happened at 1800 Magee Ave. (Jan. 5), 2000 Knorr St. (Jan. 8), 1400 Knorr St. (Jan. 11) and 6600 Horrocks St. (Jan. 14). Stores were robbed at 5600 Rising Sun Ave. (Jan. 6) and 900 Levick St. (Jan. 6) with handguns, at 5600 Rising Sun Ave. (Jan. 10) with a knife and 900 Levick St. (Jan. 4) with no weapon.
There were 11 aggravated assaults. Robin Crippen, 63, was arrested Jan. 4 following two assaults with a handgun on the street at 1400 Devereaux Ave. Assaults on the street took place at 5600 Rising Sun Ave. (Jan. 6) and 5500 Whitaker Ave. (Jan. 13) with handguns, at the intersection of Bustleton and Cottman avenues with a knife (Jan. 7), with another weapon at 2200 Cottman Ave. (Jan. 16) and a domestic assault at 7300 Dorcas St. (Jan. 9). Domestic assaults happened at private residences at 7300 Dungan Road (Jan. 7), 900 Anchor St. (Jan. 9), 600 Carver St. (Jan. 15) and 1300 Gilham St. (Jan. 16).
There were five burglaries and one attempt. Private residences were burglarized at 1400 Lardner St. (Jan. 7), 6700 Akron St. (Jan. 13) and 2000 Disston St. (Jan. 4) as well as an attempt at 7200 Rupert St. (Jan. 6). An apartment house at 5700 Weymouth St. was burglarized Jan. 15, and an office building at 7300 Bustleton Ave. was burglarized Jan. 8.
There were 107 thefts, which targeted 61 businesses, 31 vehicles (including five stolen vehicle tags), eight street thefts (including two purse snatchings), six private residences and a state building. Ten arrests were made.
7th Police District
There were two robberies, which took place on the street at 8400 Large St. with a handgun (Jan. 9) and at a restaurant at 8000 Castor Ave. (Jan. 10).
The two aggravated assaults took place on the street at 800 Solly Ave. with a handgun (Jan. 14) and at a bar/cafe at 8000 Castor Ave. (Jan. 7).
There were five burglaries and one attempt. Murdas Mirzayev, 43, was arrested Jan. 16 following a robbery at an apartment house at 9900 Bustleton Ave. Other burglaries happened at apartment houses at 8400 Roosevelt Blvd. (Jan. 4) and 1900 Beyer Ave. (Jan. 6) and at retail locations at 1600 Grant Ave. (Jan. 12 and 15). A burglary attempt was made at a private residence at 0 S. Kings Oak Lane on Jan. 16.
There were 54 thefts, which targeted 26 vehicles (including a stolen car phone and two vehicle tags), 19 businesses, six street thefts (including a purse snatching), two private residences and an unlisted location. Two arrests were made.
8th Police District
Two robberies took place on the street with handguns at 9600 Ashton Road (Jan. 16) and 3500 Welsh Road (Jan. 8).
There were five aggravated assaults. Tianna Jonas, 25, was arrested Jan. 15 following a domestic assault on the street at 2900 Welsh Road. Two assaults with handguns took place on the street at 8000 Montague St. on Jan. 8, and two assaults took place at prison facilities at 8100 State Road on Jan. 7 with a knife and Jan. 12 with another weapon.
There were six burglaries. Thomas McCarty, 36, was arrested Jan. 14 following a burglary at a private residence at 13000 Townsend Road. Other burglaries happened at private residences at 2700 Rhawn St. (Jan. 13) and 1500 Riverside Drive (Jan. 17), an apartment house at 8600 Ditman St. (Jan. 10) and unlisted locations at 8600 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 14) and 1300 Stewards Way (Jan. 8).
There were 42 thefts, which targeted 22 vehicles (including seven stolen vehicle tags), 13 businesses, two private residences, three street thefts (including a purse snatching), a bicycle and an unlisted location. Two arrests were made.
15th Police District
There were 16 robberies. Incidents on the street involving handguns happened at 4700 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 7), 4600 Garden St. (Jan. 8), the intersection of Tacony and Homestead streets (Jan. 10), 4600 Pilling St. (Jan. 17), 7100 Torresdale Ave. (Jan. 9), 6300 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 11) and 7500 Leon St. (Jan. 12), and incidents on the street with no weapons happened at 5200 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 6), 5400 Torresdale Ave. (Jan. 8), 4900 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 9), the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Harbison Avenue (Jan. 10) and 4300 Penn St. (Jan. 15). Other robberies happened at businesses including a drugstore at 4200 Paul St. (Jan. 17) with a handgun, a grocery store at 5500 Tulip St. (Jan. 13) and chain stores at 7300 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 15) and 5800 Torresdale Ave. (Jan. 6).
There were 22 aggravated assaults, which yielded six arrests. Assaults on the street include assaults with handguns at 1400 Rosalie St. (Jan. 6), twice at 4200 Griscom St. (Jan. 4), 5200 Whitaker Ave. (Jan. 9) and 4900 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 10); assaults with knives at 7400 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 11, James Fritz, 37), 4000 Frankford Ave. (Jan. 17) and the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Robbins Street (Jan. 15); an assault with another weapon at 4300 Paul St. (Jan. 10); and a domestic assault at 6300 Marsden St. (Jan. 5). Assaults at private residences included incidents with handguns at 6100 Marsden St. (Jan. 8) and 4400 Leiper St. (Jan. 13), domestic assaults at 1000 Fillmore St. (Jan. 9), 3100 Stirling St. (Jan. 9), 5300 Jackson St. (Jan. 10, Siniya Johnson, 22), 5300 Hedge St. (Jan. 10), 4700 Vista St. (Jan. 12, Jeffrey Kinsler, 39), 3900 Charles St. (Jan. 12, Michael Brown, 59), 4300 Benner St. (Jan. 4, Nasir Curry, 24) and 1300 Kennedy St. (Jan. 7, Donte Jones, 38). Two domestic assaults happened at apartment houses at 3000 Saint Vincent St. (Jan. 12) and 1300 Sellers St. (Jan. 11).
There were five burglaries, which took place at private residences at 2100 Anchor St. (Jan. 4), 6100 Algard St. (Jan. 12), 4600 Devereaux Ave. (Jan. 9) and 4300 Loring St. (Jan. 16). A gas station at 2100 Scattergood St. was burglarized Jan. 16.
There were 81 thefts, which targeted 29 vehicles (including a stolen car phone and seven stolen vehicle tags), 19 street thefts (including a pick-pocketing), 16 businesses, 12 private residences, two apartment houses, two bicycles and an unlisted location. One arrest was made.
