Police said a 55-year-old man was shot to death on the 1500 block of Riverside Drive in the Far Northeast.
Officers in the 8th Police District responded to the scene on Tuesday at about 11:35 a.m. There, they found a man suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.
A fire department medic unit responded and pronounced him dead on the scene. He was identified as Jeffrey Harvey, of the 1600 block of N. Franklin St. in North Philadelphia.
Two weapons were recovered, and an arrest was made. The investigation is ongoing with the Homicide Detectives Division. ••
