More than 40 Alvernia University students were recognized by the Holleran Center for Community and Global Engagement for their dedication to service during an awards ceremony. During the ceremony, students received service awards and pins for their service accomplishments. The honorees all performed more than 100 hours of service in a variety of tracks during their time at Alvernia. Raven Metas earned the Franciscan Servant Leader Award. Metas is studying communication. Rexann Washington earned the Graduation Award for Excellence in Service. Washington is studying social work. ••

Lorraine Galone graduated with top honors from Penn State Abington, and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, a prestigious collegiate honor society. ••
