Guards Shannon Remolde, a redshirt sophomore, and Casey Remolde, a graduate student, are on the Kutztown University women’s basketball team. Both are graduates of St. Basil. Kutztown opens the season the weekend of Nov. 11-12 in the MEC/PSAC Challenge against Charleston (W.Va.) and West Virginia State. The home opener is set for Nov. 15, against Georgian Court. ••
Matthew Weinberg, an Archbishop Ryan graduate, is on the Kutztown University wrestling team. Weinberg is a redshirt junior who wrestles at 184 pounds. Kutztown begins its 2023-24 season on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Glenville State Invitational. ••
