Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean made an appearance on Saturday night at the Checkers at 9173 Roosevelt Blvd.

As part of the event, 33 cents from every large fry sold (combo or à la carte) was donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.

DeJean signed autographs, posed for pictures and worked the drive-through line.

Checkers was the feature sponsor of the Cooper DeJean Youth Football Camp, which took place earlier in the day at Haverford School.

DeJean was selected in the second round last year and is best known for intercepting a Patrick Mahomes pass in Super Bowl LIX and returning it for a touchdown to help the Eagles crush the Kansas City Chiefs. He celebrated his 22nd birthday that night. ••
