The Emergency Department at Jefferson Frankford Hospital has been named a recipient of the 2025 Lantern Award by the Emergency Nurses Association.
The recognition honors emergency departments from around the world for demonstrating exceptional and innovative performance in leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research.

Jefferson Frankford Hospital joins Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital as one of two Jefferson Health locations to receive the 2025 Lantern Award. Both hospitals are part of a record-setting group of 96 emergency departments to be honored this year.
Jefferson Health’s previous Lantern Award recipients include Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Jefferson Bucks Hospital. ••
