A human arm found earlier this month on Pine Road in Bustleton belonged to a woman killed in a hit-and-run 10 miles away in Bucks County, officials said.

A spokesman for the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Monday that the remains were matched to 29-year-old Alexandra Ridgway, who was killed while walking on Route 1 near Neshaminy High School in Langhorne.

Police said a passerby discovered what appeared to be a partially decomposed left arm and hand just before 8:45 a.m. March 2 on the 8800 block of Pine Road, near Fox Chase Farm and Pennypack Park.

It’s unclear how the arm ended up on Pine Road, and no other body parts were found nearby.

Ridgway was struck by several different vehicles, all of which left the scene, according to the Middletown Township Police Department. There has been no word on any arrests. ••
