2nd Police District

There were 15 robberies, which resulted in two arrests. Vincent James Boyle, 49, was arrested April 19 following a robbery involving a weapon on the street at 6700 Martins Mill Road. Stephen Jones, 57, was arrested April 18 following a robbery on the street at 7900 Roosevelt Blvd. Robberies involving handguns took place on the street at 5900 Palmetto St. (April 19), 2100 Cottman Ave. (April 24), 500 Levick St. (April 24), 6100 Bingham St. (April 24), 5900 Roosevelt Blvd. (April 26) and 7000 Leonard St. (April 27). Robberies not involving weapons took place on the street at 1300 Hellerman St. (April 15), 1500 Unruh Ave. (April 16), 7300 Roosevelt Blvd. (April 16), 2400 Rhawn St. (April 18) and 7200 Horrocks St. (April 21). Other robberies include a purse snatching that took place at the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Knorr Street on April 15 and a residential burglary at 300 E. Cheltenham Ave. on April 18.

There were 11 aggravated assaults, which yielded five arrests. Assaults involving handguns took place on the street at 400 E. Cheltenham Ave. (April 18), 5600 Rising Sun Ave. (April 19), 6700 Martins Mill Road (April 19, James Vincent Boyle, 49) and 6300 Elmhurst St. (April 24, Troy Burton, 27, and Jamal Smith, 26), as well as an assault on the street at 500 W. Hill Creek Drive (April 21). Other assaults took place at an apartment house at 6800 Algon Ave. (April 26, Francisco Benitez, 29) and a private residences at 1000 Rosalie St. (April 25) and 6300 Elmhurst St. (April 23, Porcha Johnson, 28). Three assaults against police happened on the street at 5600 Miriam Road on April 20.

There were six burglaries and one attempt. Private residences were targeted at 5900 Castor Ave. (April 19), 1000 Alcott St. (April 22) and 1300 Saint Vincent St. (April 17) as well as an attempt at 2100 Disston St. (April 20). Other burglaries took place at a retail store at 6700 Bustleton Ave. (April 15), a mini market at 6300 Castor Ave. (April 22) and a food store at 6500 Castor Ave. (April 25).

There were 73 thefts, which targeted 27 vehicles (including three stolen vehicle tags and a car phone), 24 businesses, 10 street thefts, five private residences, two apartment houses, two hospitals, a hotel/motel, a bicycle and a public school. Four arrests were made. In addition, 18 vehicles were reported stolen, 15 of which have been recovered. Two arrests were made.

7th Police District

There were four robberies. Three took place on the street at 10900 Lockart Road (April 15), 1600 Benson St. (April 19) and 9000 Verree Road (April 25). A robbery took place at a factory/warehouse at 2100 Hornig Road on April 17.

The only aggravated assault took place on the street at 1100 Bartlett St. on April 23 and involved no weapon.

There were three burglaries, which took place at a private residence at 1800 Arnold St. (April 23) and two apartment houses at 13500 Bustleton Ave. (April 15) and 2100 Strahle St. (April 24).

There were 20 thefts, which targeted 10 businesses, seven vehicles (including two stolen vehicle tags) and three street thefts. Four arrests were made. In addition, four vehicles were stolen, two of which have been recovered.

8th Police District

There were three robberies. On the street, robberies took place at 9000 Revere St. (April 19), which involved a handgun, and 3200 Red Lion Road (April 17), which involved a knife. A drug store at 8400 Frankford Ave. was robbed with a handgun April 16.

There were four aggravated assaults. Tasha Griffin, 27, was arrested following an assault in a private residence at 10900 Waldemire Drive (April 21). Other assaults included a domestic assault at an apartment house at 9900 Academy Road (April 18), an assault involving a knife on the street at 9400 Fairgreen Lane (April 26) and an assault involving a weapon on the street at 0 Franklin Mills Blvd. (April 25).

There were three burglaries, which targeted an apartment house at 3300 Fitler St. (April 28), a gas station at 9400 Roosevelt Blvd. (April 19) and a chain store at 1200 Franklin Mills Circle (April 15).

There were 42 thefts, which targeted 19 businesses, 16 vehicles (including two stolen car phones), two street thefts, two bicycles, a private residence and a hospital and a gas station. Two arrests were made. In addition, eight vehicles were stolen, four of which were recovered.  Three arrests were made.

15th Police District

There were 17 robberies, which yielded four arrests. Robberies on the street involving handguns took place at 1800 Bridge St. (April 16, Tyshan Irby, 19), 1300 Foulkrod St. (April 17), 2600 Elbridge St. (April 19), 6800 Erdrick St. (April 22), 2000 Granite St. (April 23), 4600 Penn St. (April 24) and 6500 Charles St. (April 26), as well as a robbery involving another weapon at the intersection of Ditman and Haworth streets (April 25). Robberies on the street involving no weapons took place at 5200 Frankford Ave. (April 16, Aysha Berry, 27), 1300 Pratt St. (April 17), 4900 Rawle St. (April 22), 4600 Frankford Ave. (April 23) and 4900 Pennway St. (April 24). Other robberies took place at an office building at 5100 Frankford Ave. (April 26, Stefon Brinkley, 30), a bank at 7300 Frankford Ave. (April 26), a mini market at 1400 Adams Ave. (April 19, Juan Ortiz, 23) and a vehicle at 1000 Arrott St. (April 15), the latter of which involved a handgun.

There were 21 aggravated assaults, which yielded five arrests. Assaults that took place on the street and involved handguns took place at the intersection of Van Kirk and Hegerman streets (April 15), 5300 Akron St. (April 18), 4600 Leiper St. (April 19), 1100 Foulkrod St. (April 20), twice at 5200 Marlow St. (April 22), 5000 Jackson St. (April 23) and the intersection at Pratt and Saul streets (April 25). Other assaults on the street included domestic assaults at 5200 Frankford Ave. (April 16, Sabrinna S. Stanley, 22), 5000 Torresdale Ave. (April 22) and 4600 Oakland St. (April 23), an assault involving a weapon at 4600 Oakmont St. (April 24), and an assault with no weapons at 4200 Chippendale Ave. (April 23). Assaults that happened at private residences took place at 5200 Marlow St. (April 22), which involved a handgun, 1500 Sellers St. (April 19), which involved a knife, twice at 1600 Harrison St. (April 21, Chanel Savage, 42), 4400 Penn St. (April 17, Erin Lagier, 42), 2900 McKinley St. (April 18), 4300 Shelmire Ave. (April 20, Patrick Street, 34) and 6100 Jackson St. (April 19, Siddeeq Henry, 27). There was also an assault at a hospital at 4900 Frankford Ave. (April 26).

There were 16 burglaries and two attempts, which yielded five arrests. Burglaries targeted private residences at 3400 Cottman Ave. (April 20), 6500 Hegerman St. (April 24), 3400 Cottman Ave. (April 26), 1600 Allengrove St. (April 27, Eric Garner, 58), 5000 Worth St. (April 28), 5800 Akron St. (April 22), 4700 Loring St. (April 25), 1200 Haworth St. (April 27), 1500 Womrath St. (April 24, Stephen Spicker, 29), 2000 Margaret St. (April 25), 6300 Cottage St. (April 25), 6600 Charles St. (April 27), 5200 Marlow St. (April 17) and 7700 Roosevelt Blvd. (April 23) and attempts 4800 Knorr St. (April 25, David Drummond, 37) and 4000 Passmore St. (April 18, Jillian Rivera, 26). Other burglaries targeted an apartment house at 4600 Penn St. (April 24, Juan Cruz, 31) and a food store at 2500 Orthodox St. (April 23).

There were 78 thefts, which targeted 32 vehicles (including seven stolen vehicle tags), 23 businesses, 12 private residences, six street thefts, an apartment building, an office building, a bicycle and twice at SEPTA property. Eight arrests were made. In addition, 35 vehicles were reported stolen, 29 of which have been recovered. Five arrests were made.
