Aria Health, the largest health-care provider in Northeast Philadelphia and Lower Bucks County, has begun offering outpatient PET/CT imaging services five days a week at its newly constructed outpatient imaging center at 2451 Grant Ave.
Staffed by one of the largest radiology groups in the region, the center is providing patients with leading-edge technology through access to GE Healthcare’s Discovery PET/CT 690. Two “quiet rooms,” designed to provide comfort before testing, and a spacious waiting area also enhance the patient experience.
The Discovery PET/CT 690 offers technology that will enable Aria’s radiology team to detect disease at an earlier stage than conventional modalities. It also will enable the team to provide faster patient exams, making an often stressful situation for patients that much shorter.
The center, which is accepting patient appointments, also offers CAT scans and sodium bone scans.
