A 34-year-old man was charged with murder and related offenses after authorities reportedly found a body wrapped in carpet inside a Wissinoming home.
The gruesome discovery was made Saturday afternoon by a landlord who was visiting his property on the 4000 block of Higbee Street, according to numerous media reports. Police said the victim, who was not identified, was stabbed to death.

Joseph Wilson, of the 5000 block of Homestead Street in Wissinoming, turned himself in Saturday night at Philadelphia Police Department headquarters. He was charged with murder, possession of an instrument of crime, obstructing justice and other crimes, police said. ••
